Pilgrim Library is currently staffed on the following days:
Monday: 09.00 - 16.45
Tuesday: 10.00 - 15.30
Wednesday: 09.00 - 16.45
Thursday: 09.00 - 17.00
Friday: 09.00 - 17.00
Please note that this may change depending on staff availability. 24 hour access is linked to either a Pilgrim Hospital ID card or your smartcard.

Where is the Library?
The library is situated on the first floor of the Education Centre.
From the main entrance reception follow signs to Pathology. Exit the external door near Pathology and turn left. Head towards the Education Centre (red brick building) beyond the Ambulance Station. The library is in the Education Centre on the mezzanine level off the first floor. If you are using the lift then press 2.
Information about Accessing the Library Building
There is a lift to gain access to the first floor of the Educaton Centre. Then there is a ramp that can be used to gain entrance to the library. The entrance doors are not heavy but are not automatic so some users may require assistance. The entrance door is wide enough for wheelchairs and mobility scooters. The library is on one level (there are no slopes or areas that have steps) and it is carpeted throughout. There is enough space for wheelchairs and mobility scooters to move around the library.
The swipe card access box and door release button are easily accessible.
Assistance is available from library staff during staffed hours.
